Montgomery Home and School Association is thrilled to have funded Montgomery’s new pond ecosystem in the courtyard!!

Thank you, Cedar Run Landscapes! Alden R. Zove, President of Cedar Run Landscapes, a Certified Aquascape Contractor and full service landscape contracting company, donated the labor and expertise in order to bring the North American Water Garden Society’s "Ponds For Kids" concept to the Montgomery Elementary School students. The new ecosystem includes an underground Aquascape RainXchange rainwater harvesting cistern, an 8ft x 11ft pond, waterfall, stream, bog (the students' favorite!), and rain garden.

We had a wonderful two days of pond building involving every class in the school. What a beautiful and educational outdoor classroom!
